End User Agreement

  1. End User/Point and Click Agreement:

    This End-User Agreement ("EUA") is a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and Helping Others Live Sober for the AUDIO CLIP(S) included within, which includes MP3s and may include associated media or printed materials.

  2. Scope of Agreement:

    The MP3s housed within the Helping Others Live Sober website ( are provided for the sole use of substance dependent addicts going through recovery, their friends, families, members of academia, and the surrounding community. Any use not authorized herein is prohibited, including by way of illustration and not by way of limitation, making copies for resale of AUDIO CLIP(S), transferring of copies to any party not bound by this agreement, creating any modified work, or making any commercial use. You do not own or control the AUDIO CLIP(S) herein. You may not distribute, copy, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works of the AUDIO CLIP(S) or any part thereof. Any attempt to do so is a violation of the rights of the Helping Others Study and its selected AA Conference speakers.

  3. Consent to Use:

    You agree that MP3s may contain information and material protected by applicable copyright and other laws, but will not be limited herein, and that you will not use such content information, or materials in anyway whatsoever except for permitted use of the MP3s. No portion of the AUDIO CLIP(S) may be reproduced in any form by any means. You agree not to modify, sell, loan, distribute, or create derivative works based on the AUDIO CLIP(S) in any manner. You will not exploit the material in the AUDIO CLIP(S) in any way whatsoever, including but not limited so, trespass or burdening network capacity. You further agree not to use the AUDIO CLIP(S) in any manner to harass, abuse, stalk, threaten, defame, or otherwise infringe or violate the rights of any other party, and that the AUDIO CLIP(S) provider is not in any way responsible for any such use by you, nor for any harassing, threatening, defamation, offensive, or illegal messages or transmissions You may receive as a result.

  4. The laws of the state of Ohio, excluding its conflicts of law rules, govern this agreement and your use of the MP3 files. Your use of the MP3 files may also be subject to other local, state, national, or international laws.

  5. Access granted herein is expressly conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms and conditions contained in this agreement. If the forgoing terms and conditions are acceptable to you, please indicate your agreement by clicking below on the line labeled “I accept”. If you do not agree to the terms and conditions, you may not access the AUDIO CLIP(S). Instead, you must click on the line labeled “I do not accept” and exit from this computer screen.
