Copyright on materials contributed by the “Helping Others” project readers and/or members is held by the individual creators. All postings, messages, text, files, images, graphics, photos, audio clips, sounds, video or other materials (the "Content") posted on, transmitted through, or linked from the Site, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. This site offers interactive media where users can express opinions and share ideas and information. The “Helping Others” project cannot and does not monitor all of the material posted or transmitted to the Site. Additionally, the “Helping Others” project does not control, is not responsible for Content made available through the Site by contributors, and does not necessarily endorse the Content of material posted.

By using the Site, you may be exposed to Content that you may find offensive, indecent, inaccurate, misleading, or otherwise objectionable. In the event this agreement is terminated, the restrictions regarding materials appearing on the site, and the representations and warranties, indemnities, and limitations of liabilities set forth in this agreement shall survive any such termination. In addition, the “Helping Others” project reserves the right to delete any posting, message or photograph at any time, for any reason or no reason.


This site is controlled and operated by the “Helping Others” investigative headquarters currently located in Cleveland, Ohio. The “Helping Others” project does not represent or warrant that materials on the site are appropriate or available for use in other locations. If you choose to access this site from other locations, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with any and all local laws.

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the state laws of the “Helping Others” project headquarters, as it is applied to agreements entered into and performed within that State. Any action brought to enforce this agreement or matters related to the site shall be brought in either the state courts of the “Helping Others” project headquarters or federal courts. If any provision of this agreement is deemed void, unlawful or otherwise unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be severed from this agreement and the remaining provisions of this agreement shall remain in force. This contains the entire agreement between you and the “Helping Others” project concerning your use of the site and submitted and downloaded material.


The purpose of this webpage is to enable young people in recovery to access other young people living sober and to increase public understanding of young people in recovery. Tradition Eleven guides us to maintain the 12-Step Program Principle of Anonymity when distributing the message of how young people live better lives in sobriety. The intent of Tradition Eleven is to keep the identity of members anonymous, not to keep the 12-Step Program anonymous. No full names are revealed in any public forum, including the forum webpage and downloadable speaker tapes by young people, whose speeches have been altered to further protect anonymity.

The quotations, audio tapes, and all other materials from Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) are reprinted/reposted with permission of AA Central Services. AA Central Services Office has no stated opinion on the material presented on this website given the absence of any AA copyright. Permission to reprint/repost this material does not mean that AA has reviewed or approved the contents of this website or that AA agrees with the views expressed herein.
